The more valuable your items are, the more you earn! Our commission rate is only 25% for items with a list price of $1,000 or more. Regular commission is 30% for all non-clearance items. See contract for details. Plus we offer:
- A buyer-friendly website -- Customers can shop and buy 24/7 with our convenient Add to Cart buttons. Plus they can search by category AND approximate size to easily find your items.
- Quality photos -- Photos are color-corrected to give the closest representation of the actual product. ALL merchandise is promptly posted, and remains on the site until sold.
- Cross selling -- We advertise and post suits on numerous sites and forums across all breeds.
- Extra services -- For a small additional cost, we can have your items cleaned and/or make minor repairs to enhance their value. Items in great condition sell faster!
What we accept
We're looking for quality custom show apparel, clean and in good condition, approximately 10 years old or newer. Our focus is major custom brands such as Becker Brothers, DeRegnaucourt, Carl Meyers, LeCheval, Marsha DeArriaga, Richard Bennett, Hartmeyers, Show Season, Chavez and Frierson. Categories include:
- Saddleseat Show Apparel -- Day Suits, Day Coats, Formals, Show Jods, Fitted Vests, Custom Shirts, Derbies in good condition, and Top Hats. See below for items we cannot accept.
- Western Show Apparel -- Complete Outfits, Jackets, Pants, Chaps, Boots, Hats.
- Road Silks
- Jods -- Show jods and denim/twill/fun jods in good condition. Due to slow sales of used poly jods, we are not accepting poly jods at this time.
- Boots -- Leather or patent leather show boots, in very good condition only. No synthetic boots or boots showing obvious wear.
We cannot accept any of the following
- Items that are more than 15 years old, or not of the current style, including suits, formals, daycoats, show jods or men's apparel. If there is no label, please call and we can help you determine the age of the item.
- Any item that's of poor quality or construction, or has significant damage. A loose button here or a small hole there are acceptable, but we cannot sell or accept items with sweat stains, dicoloration (faded suede is okay), or noticable damage. Please call if in doubt.
- "Custom" items by unknown makers unless tailoring meets customary standards. Please call.
- Off-the-rack shirts
- Off-the-rack formal shirts and cumberbund/bowtie sets
- Gloves (except Western)
- Used riding helmets
- Derbys with exterior stains or dents, or with unrolled brims
- Practice boots. We only accept leather and patent leather show boots in very good condition.
- Poly jods. Due to slow sales of used poly jods, we are not accepting them at this time.
If you have questions, please call before shipping items. We reserve the right to reject any item we feel is not salable. Items that do not meet the criteria of "salable" will be shipped back at your expense, or donated.
How to submit items for consignment
If you're interested in consigning an item, contact Amy at (920) 470-8381. We recommend shipping via a carrier that offers insurance and tracking.
